The Training, Education & Programs at EFGA is excited to offer classes that promote safe firearm handling, self-defense, carry and more! Our instructors are certified in a wide array of disciplines. We enjoy what we do and look forward to working with all age groups and skill levels. Our Programs are expanding, and we are proud to work with the Boyscouts of America.

NRA – Women On Target
Saturday, 27 April 2024 – morning OR afternoon session
08:00 – 12:00 – Morning Session
13:00 – 17:00 – Afternoon Session
Lunch is served at noon for both the morning and afternoon sessions!
Your clinic begins with classroom instruction introducing you to the basic function and safe handling of firearms. You will then transition through two live fire exercises on our ranges learning to handle and shoot a .22 caliber pistol as well as a .22 caliber rifle. Each student will be assigned their own individual certified instructor. The event then concludes with a Post event discussion. Clinic will be held rain or shine, so dress appropriately. We recommend you wear outdoor pants or jeans and sturdy shoes or sneakers. Child care NOT provided.

Pre-Registration is Required – Please call or email before sending registration form and check. The fee includes the use of firearms, all ammunition, targets, shooting supplies, lunch, a “Women on Target” T- Shirt, and a free NRA “Swag Bag”.
Registration is open to women 18 yrs. & older, who are legal U.S. Citizens.
Breakfast, snacks and lunch provided. Bring your own bag lunch, if you require special dietary needs.
NOTE: Registration Fees for cancellations after 6 April 2024, will be non-refundable.

NRA – Basic Pistol
Saturday, 11 May 2024; 8:00 – 17:00
Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor.
